01 / THE FORMAT

Run. Reset.
Repeat.

Runners start a 4.3-mile yard at the top of every hour. Finish it within the hour, return to the corral, and start the next one when the whistle blows.

The race continues until one runner completes a yard alone. Everyone else is recorded as a DNF under backyard ultra scoring. If nobody completes one more yard than the rest, there is no winner.
